Performs a variety of duties in and around Oak Hammock including repairs and maintains pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and waste water disposal in residential, commons and healthcare buildings.
Troubleshoots and repairs stoppages, breaks or leaks in waste, water, vent, return lines and medical gas systems.
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day, performing such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, balancing and to perform heavy physical work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing. Carries out detailed written or verbal instructions. Possibly hazardous due to equipment failure, electrical shock, heavy lifting, falls or burns.
