Job summary

Dave's World, Maine’s trusted heat pump installer, is seeking a skilled plumber to service residential customers across the state. You will inspect plumbing systems, fix leaks, and upgrade components as needed, working with a supportive team.

Must hold MA Plumber License and EPA 608; propane service knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Residential plumbing and drain cleaning experience required.
• MA Plumber License and EPA 608 certification required.
• Propane equipment service/installation knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive plumbing inspections and recommend upgrades.
• Repair or replace drainage lines, faucets, and water lines.
• Locate and repair leaks and other water-supply issues.
• Read blueprints and plan layouts for plumbing systems.
• Install and maintain water supply systems and DWV components.
• Install and maintain appliances and waste disposal systems.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive plumbing inspections for customers. Offer upgrade options based on plumbing inspections findings.
• Repairing or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
• Locating and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
• Reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
• Cutting , assembling and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
• Installing and maintaining water supply systems
• Repairing domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.
• Installing waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems

Skills and Requirements:

• Residential Service Plumbing and Drain Cleaning experience required
• MA Plumber License, EPA 608
• Propane equipment service and installation
• Service Titan experience a plus
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential settings
• Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, snakes etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
