Responsibilities

Performs assigned preventive, routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing systems. Performs on-call duties as assigned. Exhibits exceptional customer service and team skills. Integrates safety procedures into every job task.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
2. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
3. A minimum of five (5) years employment experience in plumbing is required.
4. Proficiency in the use of power tools (drills, saws, sanders, etc.) is required.
5. The successful completion of OSHA/safety training in PPE, forklift operation and related topics is strongly preferred.
6. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
7. Must possess a current and valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
8. Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
