Job summary

Monogram Foods in Plover, WI is hiring for an Entry-Level Production Line Worker to inspect, grade, and package products on the conveyor system. Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate effectively. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, round, compute averages and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.

Responsibilities

• Estimate weight of product visually.
• Verify count, look at, handle product, as required by its nature, to determine grade and identify substandard products
• Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas. Add supplemental product to bring original product into specifications.
• Reports major breakdowns or problems to the line operator
• Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Assemble product according to customer specification
• Inspect and insert product at various positions along the line and discard poor product
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided
• Must follow all plant food safety and person safety rules and procedures
• Perform other duties and assignments as required
• Observe products moving quickly on a conveyor system for up to 3 1/2 hours at one time

Position Summary

Inspects, grades, packages using both hands to maintain an even production flow of products according to marketing specifications on a rotation basis on production line's conveyor system, by performing the following duties.

Primary duties and responsibilities
