Job summary

Monogram Appetizers on our production line seeks workers to inspect, grade, and package products to ensure alignment with marketing specifications. You will visually estimate weight, verify counts, and separate substandard lots while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Role requires following GMP and safety rules, wearing PPE, and occasionally working extended hours or weekends to meet production needs. Training provided for quality standards and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, grade, and package products to maintain production flow.
• Estimate weight of product visually and verify counts to determine grade.
• Place rejected products and adjust batches to specifications.
• Report major breakdowns or problems to line operator and notify supervisor of issues.
• Assemble product according to customer specifications.
• Inspect products and discard substandard items along conveyor.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow GMP and safety rules.
• Wear required PPE and adhere to plant food safety procedures.
• Observe moving products on conveyor for up to 3.5 hours and work extended hours/weekends as needed.

Position Summary:

Inspects, grades, packages using both hands to maintain an even production flow of products according to marketing specifications on a rotation basis on production line's conveyor system, by performing the following duties.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Estimate weight of product visually.
• Verify count, look at, handle product, as required by its nature, to determine grade and identify substandard products
• Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas. Add supplemental product to bring original product into specifications.
• Reports major breakdowns or problems to the line operator
• Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Assemble product according to customer specification
• Inspect and insert product at various positions along the line and discard poor product
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provide.
• Must follow all plant food safety and person safety rules and procedures
• Perform other duties and assignments as required
• Observe products moving quickly on a conveyor system for up to 3 1/2 hours at one time

This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.

Physical Environment/working Conditions:

The employee is required to walk, stand, use hands, fingers, and arms to handle, feel and reach. This position is regularly exposed to wet, warm, humid, and cold temperatures and loud noise levels. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
