The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern to join the PLM CAD Tools team on-site in State College, PA. The role supports Teamcenter integration, software/tools configuration, and Linux deployments, with a focus on security clearance readiness.

The intern will work up to 20 hours per week during fall/spring and up to 40 hours in summer, with responsibilities spanning upgrades, training, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for configuration and maintenance of ARL's PLM CAD Tools.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and integrate them.
• Support application and database tasks using Java and Python.
• Configure and deploy Linux systems and manage databases.
• Support Jira Helpdesk, update Confluence docs, and manage code in Bitbucket.
• Ensure compliance and security requirements are met.
• Investigate issues, perform cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
