Job summary
A technology service provider is seeking a Systems Administrator to support product lifecycle management for a leading defense research organization. The successful candidate will administer and optimize Aras Innovator environments, support various engineering systems, and collaborate with teams on deployments. A Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in systems administration and related fields are required. This hybrid role involves onsite presence initially as the candidate gets acclimated, transitioning to a flexible schedule thereafter.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in application and infrastructure monitoring, identifying issues.
5 years of experience in desktop and server support including installation and configuration.
5 years of experience in conducting vulnerability scanning and remediation.
5 years of programming knowledge in Python, Perl, and PowerShell.
5 years of managing PDM and PLM within an engineering environment.
5 years of experience in DevOps tooling such as Git, Jenkins, etc.
5 years of application level patching experience.
5 years of configuring and managing centralized logging and audit capabilities.
5 years of diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.
5 years of experience with enterprise backup solutions.
5 years of hands-on experience with vulnerability remediation across OS’s.
5 years of experience with Active Directory and LDAP.
5 years of strong backup experience and ability to protect critical data.
5 years of systems administration.
5 years of experience with virtualization technologies.
5 years of Windows Server administration.
Responsibilities
Administer, build, deploy, maintain, and upgrade Aras Innovator environments.
Perform environment refreshes and ongoing maintenance.
Troubleshoot integration and performance issues.
Collaborate with teams for testing and data migrations.
Provision and optimize Windows Server VMs.
Monitor and resolve system performance and security issues.
Support SolidWorks/PDM from versioning to license renewal.
Perform vulnerability remediation with Cybersecurity teams.
