Job summary

NANO Nuclear Energy in Oak Brook, IL seeks a collaborative PLM Product Manager to lead internal software integration efforts, deploy the PLM environment, and drive QA and governance across engineering, QA, and external vendors.

You will partner with the PLM Lead, develop policies, manage priorities, and apply process improvements while supporting special projects such as accounting platform integration and AI tool integration.

Qualifications

• Direct prior experience in enterprise software integration with relevant platforms.
• Ability to partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Strong process-building skills and ability to draft clear policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge of software quality assurance concepts and collaborative QA practices.
• Comfort working across multiple priorities and evolving business needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to analyze current-state processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLM development efforts as primary point of contact.
• Interface with external PLM subcontractors and coordinate priorities, deliverables, and follow-up actions.
• Provide back-end PLM development leadership as needed.
• Develop PLM policies and procedures in partnership with engineering and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PLM Lead/Specialist who manages day-to-day administration and operational support.
• Draft QA policies and procedures to support consistency, compliance, and clarity.
• Review software deliverables to help ensure quality expectations are understood and met.
• Document Control Integration.
• Support special projects expanding over time, including document control, accounting platform integration, and third-party tool AI integration.
