Job summary

Saratech Inc. is seeking a PLM Program Manager to lead Product Lifecycle Management initiatives from strategy through deployment.

This role serves as the primary interface between executive stakeholders, business teams, engineering, and delivery groups to ensure successful implementation. You will drive governance, process transformation, change management, and value realization across aerospace, defense, and high-tech industries, with remote work flexibility and collaboration with Siemens

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years in PLM, engineering systems, or enterprise software implementations.
  • 5+ years in program or project management.
  • Experience leading large cross-functional programs with customers.
  • Strong understanding of product development and PLM concepts.
  • Excellent communication and executive relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise PLM programs, including new implementations, upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, budgets, schedules, risks, and resource plans.
  • Establish governance structures, executive steering committees, and program reporting processes.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology strategy, and project execution.
  • Coordinate solution architects, business analysts, and implementation consultants.
  • Oversee requirements management, solution design, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across PDM, configuration, and BOM management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, and product development performance.

Job Title: PLM Program Manager

Location: Remote

The PLM Program Manager is responsible for leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives from strategy through deployment and adoption. This role serves as the primary interface between executive stakeholders, business teams, engineering organizations, and technical delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement of PLM solutions. The PLM Program Manager drives program governance, business process transformation, project execution, organizational change management, and value realization.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership
  • Lead enterprise PLM programs, including new implementations, upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, budgets, schedules, risks, and resource plans.
  • Establish governance structures, executive steering committees, and program reporting processes.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology strategy, and project execution.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Facilitate executive workshops, discovery sessions, and business process assessments.
  • Gather and prioritize business requirements across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and supply chain organizations.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate program status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer executives, program sponsors, and business leaders.
PLM Solution Delivery
  • Coordinate solution architects, business analysts, technical leads, and implementation consultants.
  • Oversee requirements management, solution design, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
  • Ensure solution alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Manage project scope, change requests, and delivery milestones.
Business Process Transformation
  • Lead process improvement initiatives involving:
    • Product data management (PDM)
    • Change and configuration management
    • Requirements management
    • BOM management
    • Program and project management
    • Quality management
    • Manufacturing process planning
    • Digital thread and digital twin initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, and product development performance.
Risk & Quality Management
  • Identify program risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with project methodologies and governance standards.
  • Escalate critical issues and facilitate resolution.
Adoption & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive user adoption and organizational change management activities.
  • Define KPIs and business value metrics.
  • Measure program success and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and optimization efforts.
Qualifications:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in PLM, engineering systems, manufacturing systems, or enterprise software implementations.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience managing large cross-functional programs and customer-facing initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and product lifecycle management concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, and project teams.
Preferred
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, Opcenter, NX, or related Siemens Digital Industries Software solutions.
  • Experience with Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, Arena, Agile PLM, Autodesk Vault, or similar platforms.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
  • Manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, medical device, industrial equipment, or high-tech industry experience.
  • Experience with ERP, MES, CAD, and enterprise system integrations.

Paid Time Off: All full-time regular exempt employees are eligible for our Discretionary Time Off vacation policy after 90 days from their start date, Discretionary Time Off plan is a non-accrual plan for employees. All full-time regular non-exempt employees are eligible for our Paid Time Off Plan policy after 90 days, Paid Time Off plan is an 3.33 hours accrual per pay period for employees.

Paid Holidays: All full-time employees will receive 8 paid holidays per year. Full-time non-exempt employees receive an extra floater holiday per year.

Paid Sick time: All full-time employees will receive 32 sick hours per year. Part time employees will receive 24 hours or minimum sick time required by the state.
