Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a PLM/PDM Systems Analyst to serve as a technical expert for PLM infrastructure and factory system integration. The role involves building, maintaining, and troubleshooting scalable PLM applications within a manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with engineers and leadership to ensure reliable service, manage databases, and support end-users with effective IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• 2–4 years hands‑on experience in a factory or enterprise setting.
• Minimum 2+ years hands‑on experience with PLM.
• Technical experience with PLM systems such as CAD, PDM, ERP, PMO.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; ability to explain technical information.
• Prepare written documentation clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PLM/PDM infrastructure, including PLM databases, project systems, CAD and PDM systems.
• Administer new and existing technologies; design, install, configure, maintain, and test related systems.
• Collaborate with business users on hardware, middleware, and application requirements.
• Work with vendors, engineers, analysts, and leadership to ensure data and software integrity.
• Monitor system health, logs, and scheduled jobs; ensure high availability.
• Lead problem-solving for system and service issues; coordinate with outside teams as needed.
• Stay informed on tech trends and propose innovative solutions.
• Develop new deliverables per operational requirements and documentation best practices.
• Troubleshoot hardware and applications related to manufacturing processes.
• Configure and deploy devices and peripherals as necessary.
• Resolve on-site issues from a ticketing system while upholding Panasonic policies.
