Job summary

OP seeks an experienced PLM Integration Architect to lead the integration of a new PLM platform with the enterprise ecosystem. You will define architectures, coordinate multiple teams, and oversee development across PLM, Boomi, Kabul Link, and downstream apps to ensure reliable data flows.

The role requires strong integration expertise, hands-on pattern knowledge, and leadership to drive cross-functional delivery in a retail/product-centric environment.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced PLM Integration Architect to provide technical leadership for the integration of a new PLM platform with the broader enterprise application ecosystem. This is a lead role responsible for defining integration architecture, coordinating multiple technical teams, and overseeing development activities across PLM, Boomi middleware, Kabul Link, and downstream applications. The ideal candidate combines strong PLM and enterprise integration architecture expertise with hands‑on knowledge of modern integration patterns and the leadership skills to drive complex, cross‑functional delivery. Experience with retail, apparel, or other product‑centric environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end integration architecture for the new PLM platform and its connected enterprise applications.
• Define integration patterns, interface designs, data flows, APIs, messaging approaches, and technical standards across the PLM ecosystem.
• Lead and coordinate development activities across PLM, Boomi, Kabul Link, and downstream application teams.
• Serve as the technical integration lead across business stakeholders, solution architects, application owners, developers, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, supportable integration designs.
• Establish clear technical ownership, dependencies, sequencing, and delivery expectations across multiple development teams.
• Review solution designs and provide architectural direction throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Ensure PLM integrations support accurate and reliable product, item, material, style, BOM, and related master‑data flows into downstream systems.
• Guide integration testing, end‑to‑end testing, defect resolution, cutover planning, and production‑readiness activities.
• Define standards for exception handling, monitoring, logging, retry/recovery, security, and operational support.
• Identify architectural risks, integration gaps, data‑quality issues, and cross‑system dependencies early and drive them through resolution.
• Promote reusable integration components, governance standards, documentation, and engineering best practices.
• Support the transition from legacy or point‑to‑point integrations to scalable middleware‑based integration patterns where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, systems integration, solution architecture, or related technical roles.
• Significant experience architecting and delivering integrations involving PLM platforms and downstream enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple development or integration teams across complex transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture and API‑led, event‑driven, real‑time, batch, and message‑based integration patterns.
• Experience with middleware/integration platforms such as Boomi and with integrations spanning APIs, databases, files, and messaging technologies.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP services, JSON, XML, data transformation, interface design, and system‑to‑system data mapping.
• Experience coordinating integrations between PLM and enterprise applications such as ERP, WMS, supply chain, product/master‑data, eCommerce, or other downstream platforms.
• Proven ability to conduct architecture and technical design reviews and make decisions involving scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Experience overseeing the full integration development lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, cutover, and production support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to align technical and non‑technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lectra PLM or another enterprise PLM platform in an apparel, fashion, retail, or consumer‑products environment.
• Deep experience with Boomi AtomSphere, including API management, deployment, monitoring, governance, and operational support.
• Experience integrating PLM with Oracle or other enterprise ERP platforms.
• Experience modernizing legacy point‑to‑point integrations into middleware‑based architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps delivery, CI/CD, release management, and integration governance.
• Boomi or relevant integration/architecture certifications are a plus.
