Capgemini is seeking a PLM Developer to join our Teamcenter Aerospace & Defense effort in the Seattle/Bellevue area. You will design, develop, and maintain Teamcenter customizations and extensions using ITK, SOA, and Active Workspace to support complex engineering requirements.

You will contribute to AI-assisted services and APIs, write robust tests, and help ensure secure, scalable solutions within a distributed onshore–offshore team.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience building Teamcenter customizations and extensions (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace/AWC).
• Owns complex extensions and mentor responsibilities within a Teamcenter environment.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and API/service design; REST/integration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Teamcenter customizations and extensions to support complex requirements.
• Write testable, documented code and perform unit testing; support CI/CD validation.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to align with standards and mentor junior staff.

Where no two days are the same## **Location**Hybrid role in Seattle/ Bellevue WA – 10-30% travel might required## **About the role you're considering**Capgemini is hiring PLM Developers across junior, intermediate and senior bands to build Teamcenter customizations, extensions and integrations on a large, complex PLM modernization for a major Aerospace & Defense OEM, within a blended onshore–offshore team and an AI-Powered software factory.## **Your Role*** Design, develop, and maintain Teamcenter customizations and extensions using ITK, SOA, and Active Workspace (AWC) to support complex business and engineering requirements.* Build and enhance AI-assisted, agent-ready services and APIs,* Write testable, documented code; unit-test and support performance / security validation within CI/CD.* Work within the distributed onshore–offshore team to shared standards; senior band owns complex components and mentors## **Your skills and experience*** 3-7+ years of experience in build Teamcenter customizations and extensions (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace / AWC).* Owns complex extensions and agent-ready services; mentors; deep Teamcenter.* Use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified.* Implement integrations and migration utilities to technical design.* Solid programming (Java / C++ / web) and testing discipline.* Preferred: Siemens Teamcenter developer certification; REST /integration development; Angular for AWC.* Aerospace & Defense or regulated-industry background.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 - $174,000. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
