Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a Data Extraction Specialist to design and implement extraction logic across PLM+ environments. You will collaborate with PLM+ teams, DBAs, and SMEs to ensure accurate mapping, validation, and scalable extraction processes.

Responsibilities include building SQL/PLSQL/SDK-based extract programs, optimizing performance, handling FileVault content, and delivering clean extraction outputs for downstream transformation.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Agile schemas and extraction design.
• Experience building and optimizing SQL/PLSQL/SDK-based extract programs.
• Profiling, completeness checks, referential integrity validation, and error triage.
• Ability to implement full revision history extraction for migrations.
• Skill in tuning queries, indexes, and batch logic to improve throughput.
• Experience with FileVault, attachments, metadata, and cloud ingestion prep.
• Deliver clean, structured extract files/tables for downstream transformation.
• Participate in iterative mock runs, troubleshoot failures, and refine logic.
• Collaborate with PLM+ teams, DBAs, SMEs, and integration teams.
• Create and maintain design docs, BRDs, and technical specs (RICEFW).

Responsibilities

• Understand and map extraction scope and design.
• Develop and optimize extraction scripts for high-volume data.
• Validate data quality and perform error triage.
• Implement full revision history extraction for migrations.
• Tune queries, indexes, and batch logic to improve throughput.
• Handle FileVault attachments and metadata for cloud ingestion.
• Deliver structured extract files for downstream transformation.
• Participate in dry runs and UAT to refine extraction logic.
• Collaborate with PLM+ teams, DBAs, SMEs, and integration teams.
• Produce technical design artifacts and BRDs.
