Client has multiple Teamcenter environments across business units with varying versions, customizations, integrations, workflows, and configurations. Deployment activities are currently manual, time‑consuming, and dependent on specialized knowledge, resulting in inconsistent deployments, longer release cycles, and increased operational risk.
The purpose of this role is to engage a consultant to establish a standardized PLM CI/CD framework that automates the build, validation, testing, and deployment of Teamcenter customizations and configuration packages while supporting environment‑specific variations through configurable deployment parameters.
The scope of this initiative is limited to automating the lifecycle of Teamcenter code and configuration changes. Teamcenter version consolidation, enterprise‑wide environment standardization, and large‑scale upgrade transformation activities are outside the scope of this engagement.
The primary objective is to implement a standardized Build → Test → Deploy framework capable of supporting Teamcenter customizations, patches, and configuration deployments across multiple environments.
Key objectives include:
Target deployment lifecycle:
Source Control → Build & Package → Security & Vulnerability Scanning → Automated Validation → Automated Testing → Deployment → Post‑Deployment Verification → UAT Approval → Production Release
