Job summary

Mountville Mills, Inc. in Dalton, GA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our Dalton facilities. The role focuses on PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, and keeping industrial equipment running smoothly.

Travel to Mountville branch locations is required. Responsibilities include creating, modifying and testing PLC code, changing ladder logic, setting up HMI screens, installing and repairing equipment, and performing preventive maintenance on mills, HVAC, pumps and

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
2+ years PLC programming experience required; 5+ years preferred.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC RSLogix500 and Studio5000 required.
Electrical troubleshooting experience required.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel to Mountville branch locations.
Ability to work independently and read equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, and test PLC code.
Change ladder logic in PLC programs.
Set up HMI screens and make changes to HMI screens.
Program drives and other electronic components.
Install, troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment (mills, HVAC, pumps, motors, etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
Use CMMS system to track maintenance activities.
Identify electrical problems using testing devices.
