Qualifications

Job Description

Factory Location: Stanwood, MI
Compensation: $45.45 / hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: 6:00 pm – 2:30 am, Sunday – Thursday
Ability to work holidays and weekends as per business needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic or mechanical malfunctions using manuals, SOPs, and workplace aids.
  • Program and modify PLC programs.
  • Resolve system faults and anomalies related to installation, operation, and maintenance, including control code adjustments.
  • Write and debug PLC logic, recommending major corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and automation equipment issues.
  • Obtain and interpret drawings, manuals, and procedures; create sketches or diagrams as needed.
  • Develop applications using Human Machine Interfaces.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on equipment.
  • Identify waste reduction opportunities and manage related projects.
  • Train and communicate effectively with team members to improve response to equipment issues.
  • Support areas including production, mechanical room, water processing, boiler room, wastewater treatment, and chemical treatment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Intermediate PLC programming and automation knowledge.
  • Experience with high/low-pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic systems, and water processing.
  • Self-managed and efficient in independent work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer navigation.
  • Flexible to support all shifts and willing to work holidays/weekends.
  • Ability to train others and foster teamwork.
  • Capable of physical inspections, including climbing and reaching.
