Job summary

USG is seeking a skilled professional to join our Jacksonville, FL manufacturing plant as a process control engineer. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance process control and drive programs, and provide programming for plant equipment.

You will contribute to the development of new PLC technologies to drive continuous improvement and collaborate with stakeholders on needs and status. Ideal candidates will have specialized education in process control, ladder logic and HMI programming

Qualifications

  • Certification or specialized education in process control is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability with the engineering, programming, and implementation of industrial control systems.
  • Proven experience with control systems components, ladder logic programming, HMI programming and their applications.
  • Aptitude for instrumentation and controls design.
  • Well developed aptitude around MO computer applications, Project and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and install electrical circuits up to 480V.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
  • Self-starter, with excellent organization skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
