Job summary

Nature's Bakery in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a PLC/Controls Technician to maintain and upgrade state-of-the-art production lines. You will work with advanced automation, implement PLC/HMI programs, and support reliability initiatives in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Ideal candidates understand automated industrial machinery, read schematics, and troubleshoot PLC networks. This role offers high visibility and opportunities to influence plant performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated industrial machinery, motors, drives, relays, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and HMI systems in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing controls and automation systems and data gathering for packaging and processing equipment.
• Develop and modify PLC & HMI programs and implement control changes.
• Provide project support for control/electrical systems and document change control.
• Maintain and improve process control systems for reliability and performance.
