Job summary

Kaygen, Inc. seeks a qualified Industrial Maintenance Technician to support PLC programming, troubleshooting, and electrical control systems. The role requires experience with robotics programming, AGVs/AMRs, and safety scanner systems, with travel up to 65% and periodic overtime.

The candidate should have a 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience, and be able to read mechanical/electrical drawings. Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs and varied work environments are expected.

Job description

• Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting ( Toyopuc, Seimens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley)- 2 years
• Comprehensive knowledge of PLC’s - 2 years
• Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical circuits and Industrial controls- 2 years
• 2-year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings
• Ability to travel up to 65% at times. (Including International travel)
• Ability to work up to 50% overtime when required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs on occasion
• Ability to frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching on varying surfaces.
• Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed repairs.
• Ability to work in various environments including hot, cold, or confined spaces
• Stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work long shifts.
