Job summary
The Pivot Group Careers is actively seeking PLC Programmers to join a network of manufacturers in and around Mason, Michigan. The role focuses on developing and troubleshooting PLC programs, integrating with HMIs, sensors, and automation devices, and ensuring reliable operation on the production floor.
Candidates should have an associate degree in electrical engineering technology or related field, hands-on PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi), and familiarity with Ethernet/IP or
Qualifications
- Must have experience writing and modifying PLC programs for manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Experience with HMIs and integration with sensors.
- Familiarity with Ethernet/IP or Modbus protocols.
Responsibilities
- Support installation and startup of new automated systems.
- Write and modify PLC programs for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC and control system issues on the production floor.
- Integrate PLCs with HMIs, sensors, and other automation devices.
- Perform testing and debugging of new and modified programs.
- Document program changes and maintain version control.
- Collaborate with engineers and maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
