The Pivot Group Network is seeking PLC Programmers to connect with Kalamazoo-area manufacturers. This role focuses on developing and debugging PLC programs, integrating HMIs, and improving machine reliability across regional facilities.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in electrical tech or equivalent experience, hands-on PLC/HMI work, and familiarity with major PLC brands. Opportunities exist within a growing manufacturing network in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
• Associate degree in electrical engineering technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with HMI configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience programming PLCs such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.

Responsabilités

• Perform testing and debugging of new and modified programs.
• Document program changes and maintain version control.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Support installation and startup of new automated systems.
• Write and modify PLC programs for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC and control system issues on the production floor.
• Integrate PLCs with HMIs, sensors, and other automation devices.
