Job summary

Manpower seeks a PLC & Instrumentation Technician for a manufacturing client in Florida. The role is on-site in Deland, with a pay range of $28–$30 per hour and a Tuesday–Saturday night shift (6pm–2:30am).

You will install, monitor, and repair PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and related systems while supporting maintenance and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years in industrial maintenance or PLC systems, a state electrician license, and the ability to read blueprints and

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school education preferred.
  • 4–6 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, or PLC systems.
  • State-certified electrician license and relevant certifications may be required.
  • Knowledge of PLC control systems, power distribution, sensors, and electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, ladder logic, and equipment specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Install, monitor, and repair PLC devices, including hardware and software components.
  • Support PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and other electronic systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust control systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, safety inspections, and parts inventory using CMMS systems.

As a PLC & Instrumentation Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and engineering teams.
