Job summary

Datrose is seeking an Automation & Controls Engineer in Montgomeryville, PA. The role focuses on programming PLCs, designing HMIs, and developing electrical schematics for custom control panels used in ultrapure water systems.

You will work with engineering, production, and installation teams in a customer-facing capacity. Candidates should have 1–3 years' experience with Rockwell and Automation Direct tools, AutoCAD or Draftsight, and BOM creation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in PLC design and programming.
• Familiar with P&ID and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in Rockwell and Automation Direct HMI software.
• Experience with UL-listed control panels is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program PLC control systems and HMIs for water systems.
• Prepare PLC electrical schematics using AutoCAD or Draftsight.
• Provide ladder logic using CCW, RSLogix500, Studio 5000, Factory Talk Studio, and Cscape.
• Create I/O and Alarm list from P&ID drawings.
• Create control panel BOMs and instrument material take-offs.
• Support control panel fabrication and wiring in accordance with diagrams.
