Job description

PLC & Commissioning Engineer (Marine Offshore)

  • Penjuru (Transport pickup provided at Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Bishan & Serangoon)
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Salary Range: S$3,500 - $4,200

Responsibilities:

  • Develop green marine solutions to reduce marine carbon footprint, aligned with company objectives.
  • Set up test labs for development and testing.
  • Perform PLC software and algorithm development for electrical propulsion solutions.
  • Document software architecture, logic flow, test procedures, quality control, and other supporting documents.
  • Support vessel commissioning with similar configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during vessel commissioning related to our solutions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong software development skills, especially in equipment controls.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, motor drives, marine propulsion systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with EPlan.
