Job summary

Pemco-Corporation in Virginia is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to develop and troubleshoot control systems for automation projects. Travel to customer sites for onsite installation work is required, with a focus on reliable, high-quality PLC programming aligned to project needs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in PLC programming, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with SCADA systems, networking, and programming. Safety compliance and self-motivated work style are essential.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Instrumentation.
2+ years PLC programming experience.
Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automation & process control equipment & systems (SCADA Development).
Excellent problem solver- A motivated, self-starter that can get tasks accomplished with limited supervision.
Ability to understand and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Networking or Computer Programming Experience.

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality PLC programming aligned with the defined project’s requirements.
Perform troubleshooting and investigations relating to deviations and anomalies associated with automated control systems.
Establish sequence of operation & control system architecture.
Travel to customer sites and onsite installation work.
