Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform PLC work on all manufacturing equipment. You will install, program, troubleshoot, and repair PLC systems and proactively maintain plant electrical and electronic systems.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Electronics with 3+ years of hands-on experience; ability to design control circuits, write A/B PLC logic, and work in a loud, physically demanding environment. Westlake values safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent with 3+ years of electronics experience.
• Experience writing advanced A/B PLC logic and troubleshooting PLC circuits.
• Ability to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair on manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain plant electrical systems and power transmission components.
• Design and assemble control circuits and cabinets with user interfaces.
• Analyze machinery for PLC automation opportunities.
• Maintain logs of production inventory and throughput.
