A leading automation and logistics company is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support the design and testing of advanced material handling systems. The role involves responsibilities such as reviewing electrical drawings, developing PLC documentation, and troubleshooting systems. Qualifications
- Experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens).
- Familiarity with Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and industrial communication protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, drives, networking).
- Ability to read and interpret logic and electrical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Review electrical drawings, safety layouts, and IO layouts.
- Develop PLC design documentation and network topology diagrams.
- Write, debug, and test PLC code.
- Configure field devices and control components.
- Perform and document commissioning and integrated system testing.
Skills
PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens)
Troubleshooting (electrical, drives, networking)
Reading and interpreting logic and electrical drawings
