Valeo is seeking a PLC Specialist to program and troubleshoot automated robotic and vision systems in a high-speed manufacturing environment in Reno, NV. You will oversee ramp-up of lines, integrating PLCs, motion control, sensors and actuators to optimize cycle times and reduce bottlenecks.

You should have a Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering and 4+ years of PLC experience, preferably with Allen-Bradley, and familiarity with Keyence/Cognex vision systems and VFDs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of PLC programming experience, preferably with Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka robotics.
• Experience programming PLCs in high-speed industrial environments; familiarity with VFDs and vision systems.

Responsabilidades

• Modify and optimize PLC programs using IEC 61131-3 languages, focusing on Ladder Diagram for complex processes.
• Oversee ramp-up of manufacturing lines including robotics, electromechanical systems, and vision systems.
• Design and implement in-house control architectures and standards across Valeo sites.
