Hourly Pay: $40–$45/hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation and control systems in correctional facilities
  • Integrate and support touch screen panels connected to systems like lighting, water, HVAC, door locks, and intercoms
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic
  • Perform on-site testing and commissioning of systems at customer locations
  • Travel frequently to job sites across the U.S. (air travel and extended stays required)
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support during and after installation
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure system integrity and functionality
  • Maintain detailed documentation of installations, updates, and field modifications
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in controls, automation, or PLC systems (Allen-Bradley or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and control systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
  • Proficient with HMI or touch panel interfaces
  • Willing and able to travel 50–60% of the time
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass extensive background checks required
  • Prior experience in correctional, industrial, or facilities-based automation is a plus
