Job summary

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is seeking a Teaching Artist & Education Program Manager – Playwriting to develop and deliver high-quality theatre education for students across the Denver Metro Area. This on-site role supports the Regional Middle School and High School Playwriting Program and collaborates with educators, teaching artists and department directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in theatre, theatre education, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–8 years drama/theatre teaching experience preferred.
• Strong writing and reporting skills; highly collaborative and organized.

Responsibilities

• Teach theatre-based curriculum to students of all ages.
• Develop arts-integrated curriculum across DCPA Education offerings.
• Coordinate with education team to plan and deliver workshops and programs.
• Lead regional middle/high school playwriting workshops and competitions.
• Support DPS Shakespeare Festival workshops and related education initiatives.
