Little Diggers in Dublin, OH is seeking a Part Time Playspace Attendant to help manage front desk operations, greet families, and keep the playspace clean and safe. The role involves handling admissions, processing payments, and supporting event setups and party activities.

You will work 2-3 days a week with shifts around 8:45am-5:30pm, and some after-hours events. A background in customer service and comfort with children are ideal. Pay is $16.00 per hour, with weekend availability recommended.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in customer service, childcare, or a similar role is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and ability to work with children and parents.
Attention to detail and ability to enforce rules and safety guidelines.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Ability to multitask and handle busy periods with composure.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in active play for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and positive attitude.
Provide information to customers about admission options, pricing, and rules.
Operate the point-of-sale system to process admissions and handle cash/credit transactions.
Ensure the playspace area is clean, organized, and safe for children's play.
Monitor and enforce safety rules and guidelines to ensure a safe play environment.
Frequently sweep up stray sand and perform general tidying within the playspace.
Clean and sanitize commonly touched surfaces, including front desk and restrooms.
Assist in preparing party rooms for birthday celebrations, including setup and cleanup.
Assist party hosts and guests during parties to ensure a smooth experience.
Perform basic maintenance tasks and report any maintenance issues to the management.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and promptly.
Follow emergency procedures and protocols in case of incidents or accidents.
Collaborate with co-workers to ensure smooth shift transitions and optimal teamwork.
Adhere to company policies and guidelines at all times.

Job Description
Part Time: Monday through Friday, 2-3 days per week.
Shifts are typically 8:45am-5:30pm with some after hours parties and events.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Must be an outgoing individual who also enjoys cleaning.
As a PlaySpace Attendant at Little Diggers, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and engaging experience for children and their families. You'll be responsible for managing the front desk, daily cleaning responsibilities, overseeing daily operations, and assisting with various activities within the playspace.
