Job summary

McHenry Community Consolidated School District 15 is seeking a Playground Supervisor for Riverwood Elementary School. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday from 10:50 am to 2:05 pm, starting ASAP with a flexible “Until Filled” closing date.

Responsibilities include supervising students on the playground, in the lunchroom and between areas, assisting with lunchroom cleanup and play equipment, and communicating effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform duties in both indoor and outdoor setting with a focus on safety;
• Supervise and direct groups of students to and from playground, lunchroom and classrooms in a safe and organized manner;
• Assist in lunchroom cleanup and assume responsibility for play equipment;
• Dependability a must;
• Ability to effectively communicate as a member of a team.
