Job summary

Portage Public Schools is seeking a Playground Supervisor for Haverhill Elementary School. This Edustaff position covers 3–4 hours per day at $14.28 per hour for the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities include directing students to and from the playground, maintaining order in lunch areas, supervising tray disposal, and assisting food staff as needed. Strong communication and mobility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Agility and mobility to move about the playground.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs students to and from the playground in an orderly, organized manner.
• Maintain order in cafeteria and playground by adhering to rules and applying consistent discipline.
• Supervise students returning trays and disposing of debris.
• Clean tables between lunch periods and manage debris disposal.
• Maintain visibility by circulating among tables and assisting children; resolve minor problems.
