Job summary

Portage Public Schools at 12th Street Elementary School seeks a Playground Supervisor (Edustaff Employee) for 3.5 hours per day. Directs students to and from the playground in an orderly, supervised manner.

Responsibilities

• Directs students to and from the playground in an orderly, organized manner.
• Organize students to and from the playground.
• Maintain order within the cafeteria and playground by observing rules and discipline.
• Supervise students as they return trays and dispose of debris.
• Clean tables between lunch periods and dispose of debris.
• Maintain visibility by circulating among tables and assist children as needed.
• Inform teacher/principal of any serious problems; notify principal if needed.
• Supervise dismissal of students from lunchroom and to and from playground.
• Assist food staff as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
