Job summary

The position requires a High School diploma and experience working with children, with the ability to administer basic first aid and promote fair play. Schedule is part-time (2 hours daily, 5 days/week) during the school year.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures/protocol.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students at playtime and maintain established safety standards
• Organize group games and activities
• Assume responsibility for children playing safely on playground equipment
• React properly to injuries and administer first aid if needed
• Promote fairness and good sportsmanship
• Check playground equipment and weather conditions for safety
• Direct movements of students to and from the playground
• Complete disciplinary reports for incidents of serious or repetitive misbehavior
• Assist in cafeteria as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned
