Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Maintain basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Ability to visually supervise students and assess situations for safety concerns.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment regarding student safety and welfare.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal direction.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to move throughout the school building and playground, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical activities, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and/or lifting.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Preferred, not required - Bilingual endorsement/approval or fluency in a second language, in addition to English
