Rock Creek Elementary is seeking a dependable, safety-minded individual to serve as a Playground Aide. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, positive, and respectful environment for students during recesses.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise students at recess
• Monitor playground activities to ensure student safety and appropriate behavior
• Assist students in resolving minor conflicts using positive and respectful communication
• Enforce school rules and safety procedures consistently and fairly
• Remain alert to potential safety concerns and respond quickly and appropriately
• Communicate concerns or incidents promptly to school administration
• Encourage positive student behavior and help create an inclusive school environment
• Assist with basic playground organization and equipment monitoring
• Support teachers and staff with classroom projects, preparation, and other school-wide tasks during non-recess times as part of a collaborative school team environment
