Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience.
• Interest in working with Birth to Five children.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and participate in diapering routines.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to a part-time schedule.
• Open to full-day or half-day options as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing developmentally appropriate curricular experiences.
• Help set up and clean the classroom daily.
• Ensure each child is never left alone and supervise during activities.
• Follow daily hourly schedule and routines.
• Assist with diapering and toilet training in appropriate classroom.
• Fill in daily sheets for each child and document notes.
• Serve lunch, clean tables, and help with classroom cleanup.
• Prepare rest time area with cots and comfort children as needed.
• Maintain room and outdoor play area in an orderly state.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
