Job summary

The Scott Family Amazeum is seeking an Early Learning Educator to create welcoming, play-based experiences for children aged 0–6 and their caregivers. You will facilitate learning with engaging activities, ensure safe and inviting spaces, and collaborate with the Early Learning Team to continuously improve programs.

This hourly, full-time role offers varied schedules including weekends and evenings, with a minimum of $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience with children in paid, volunteer, educational, childcare, camp, community, or similar settings.
• Basic knowledge of child developmental stages.
• Strong verbal communication skills with emphasis on interacting with diverse early childhood audiences.
• Ability to balance shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead play-based experiences for children ages 0–6 and their caregivers.
• Provide exceptional guest engagement and maintain safe, inviting learning environments.
• Collaborate with Early Learning Team to improve programs through observation and feedback.
• Assist in designing and refining exhibits and programming for community partners.
• Support supervision and risk-taking through play and active engagement.
