Job summary

Classic Club in Palm Desert, CA, is seeking a part-time Players Assistant for a seasonal role lasting about 6 months. You will monitor pace of play on the course and deliver high-quality guest service to members and guests, supporting the Pro Shop and Outside Staff as needed.

The position requires a strong work ethic, dependable and friendly demeanor, and a basic knowledge of golf. A valid driver's license is required; healthcare and retirement benefits are provided to eligible staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional appearance.

• Communicates with and assists the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play.
• Communicates with the Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns.
• Monitors course cleanliness.
• Assists Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
• Advises guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules, and other golf-related issues.
• Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Classic Club, located in Palm Desert, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Players Assistant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$16.90 - $17.40 per hour

Summary:

As a key member of the operations team, the Players Assistant is responsible for monitoring the pace of play on the course. In addition, the Players Assistant needs to provide our guests high-quality customer service in a friendly and helpful manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains a professional appearance.
