Introduction

Responsibilities
  1. Ensures interactions with internal and external guests following the guidelines of the Red Carpet Customer Service Program.
  2. Issues comps in accordance with Hollywood Casino Tunica comping policies.
  3. Processes cash transactions for casino customers and employees (Includes cashing TITO tickets, personal checks, traveler’s checks, exchange currency and processing cash advances).
  4. Consistently demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with Title 31 regulations.
  5. Enrolls patrons into Players Club; issue patrons Players Club cards; maintain accurate player tracking information; and assist the Marketing Department with all casino promotions.
  6. Answers phone calls professionally and pleasantly.
  7. Cash customer checks and establish information accounts for guests to speed up further check cashing.
  8. Cash and sell chips. Redeem players' winnings for cash.
  9. Process credit/debit card cash advance checks.
  10. Balances cash drawers. Ensure that the drawers are at appropriate impressed amount at beginning and end of each shift.
  11. Performs buys with main bank to keep drawer stocked throughout current shift and for the next shift.
  12. Completes all necessary paperwork, including but not limited to balance sheets, buy sheets, MTL/MIL, and CTRs.
  13. Meets department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  14. Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  15. Keeps work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  16. Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  17. Carries out any reasonable request made by your supervisor or any management personnel.
  18. Attends all department meetings and training programs as directed.
  19. May assist in greet day trip buses.
Requirements
  1. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  3. Previous cash handling or cage experience preferred.
  4. Prior cashiering experience and/or heavy money handling experience preferred.
  5. Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Supervisor or Manager.
Language Skills
  1. Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  2. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  3. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
Mathematical Skills
  1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  2. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
  3. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area.
  4. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
Reasoning Ability
  1. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  2. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Employee must be able to obtain licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
