Salary Range: $16.50 - $16.50 Hourly
Description

Job Summary:The Player Services Attendant is responsible for enforcing all club rules pertaining to golf as well as providing assistance to the Members/Guests in order to keep pace of play at an event flow.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Ensure smooth pace of play on golf course.
  • Observes pace of play
  • Requests slower playing groups to speed up pace, if appropriate
  • Requests slower playing groups to allow others to play through, if appropriate
  • Escorts unauthorized people from course
  • Ensures that divots and ball marks are repaired
  • Reports all infractions to Starter
  • Ensures that sand traps are raked
  • Carries and provides clean towels and water for ball washers
  • Replaces towels on ball washers
  • Replenishes water in ball washers
  • Assists Player Services Attendants assigned to the first tee during heavy demand periods
  • Other job duties as assigned

Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior golf experience required.

Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates use are in English). Maintain effective communication between all staff members in regards to course operations and human resource issues. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Certificates/Licenses/Safet Training: Golf Cart Safety, CPR Certification, Harassment Prevention Training, Workplace Violence Prevention, and Heat Illness Prevention Required
