Petco is seeking a Lead Merchandise Financial Planner to guide financial planning for assigned categories across multi-channel operations. This player-coach role blends hands-on analysis with people leadership in a dynamic retail environment.

You will own complex merchandise financial plans, open-to-buy governance, and margin optimization, while mentoring 2–4 planners and partnering with Merchants and Inventory Management to protect working capital and maximize GMROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 5–8+ years in merchandise financial planning or related retail finance.
• Experience leading a small planning team is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own complex merch financial plans, OTB, and margin optimization.
• Lead and coach a pod of 2–4 Merch Planners.
• Set options, sales, and GMROI targets; manage model quality.
