Ellie Mental Health Clinton Township in Michigan is seeking a full-time Play Therapist to provide outpatient therapy for children using developmentally appropriate play techniques. Children don't always have the words to explain what they're going through. As a Play Therapist at our locally owned Ellie Mental Health clinic, you'll use creativity, connection, and clinical skill to help children express themselves, build coping skills, and grow.

You'll work with children and families in a welcoming outpatient setting, alongside a team that shares ideas, supports one another, and cares about making therapy more accessible.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• A master's degree in a behavioral health field and a full clinical license in Michigan, such as an LMSW, LPC, or LMFT
• Experience providing therapy to children and using play-based interventions
• A strong understanding of child development and family dynamics
• A warm, creative approach that helps children feel safe and engaged
• Play therapy training or Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credentials are a plus
• Comfort using an electronic health record; Valant experience is a plus

This full-time role includes a target of 25 recorded client sessions per week. Some evening or weekend availability is helpful for families.

Compensation:

Estimated annual earnings of $70,000-$90,000+, depending on caseload and productivity, with potential bonuses and incentives.
