Carolina Integrative Therapy in Huntersville invites a compassionate Play Therapist to support children and families through developmentally responsive, relationship-centered care. This role involves in-person sessions at our Huntersville practice and virtual services to meet diverse client needs.

We provide individual, group, couples, and family counseling through in-person and virtual services. We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative Play Therapist to join our Huntersville practice and support children and families through developmentally responsive, relationship-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed play therapy and integrate creative, expressive interventions within your training and scope of practice.
• Engage caregivers through consultation, education, and family sessions as appropriate.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and ethical, professional standards.
• Coordinate care with other providers and participate in collaborative case consultation.
• Foster an inclusive therapeutic environment grounded in safety, trust, choice, and respect.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related mental health field.

Compensation & Professional Support

• Compensation: 70/30 split-70% to the clinician and 30% to the practice.
• $200 yearly continuing education allotment.
• Consultation with a trauma-focused clinical team experienced in serving clients across diverse backgrounds, identities, and presenting concerns.
