Job summary

Diggs Play Cafe and Bookstore in California seeks a friendly, organized Play Cafe and Bookstore Manager to lead daily operations, oversee staff, and maintain both cafe and bookstore spaces for an exceptional family-friendly experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of barista experience with knowledge of coffee and equipment.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or manager role within coffee, food/beverage and/or hospitality.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and life up to 50lbs.
• Proficient with a computer and a register.
• Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
• Certified food handler.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and refine cafe menus, including food and beverages.
• Oversee daily business activities to ensure efficiency.

The pay range for this position is 28-34/hr. Compensation offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
