Job summary

Pecos Bills and The Pecos League Office are seeking a dedicated Play-by-Play Broadcaster for the 2027 season. You will be the voice of our team, delivering live commentary for all home and away Pecos Bills games and coordinating pre/post-game interviews with coaches and players.

The role requires strong baseball knowledge, engaging delivery, and the ability to travel with the team across West Texas. Housing is provided for the season.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports broadcasting, particularly play-by-play for baseball.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with clear, engaging delivery.
• Strong knowledge of baseball rules, strategies and terminology.
• Ability to manage a live broadcast independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging and accurate live play-by-play commentary for all Pecos Bills games in 2027.
• Conduct pre-game and post-game interviews with coaches, players, and staff as needed.
• Research statistics, bios, and team info to enhance broadcast quality.
• Operate streaming equipment and ensure high-quality audio/video transmission on platforms like Vimeo.
• Engage with fans during broadcast and via social channels.
