Job summary

The Pecos League Office, in collaboration with the Dublin Leprechauns, is seeking a Play by Play Broadcaster & Assistant General Manager for the 2027 season based in Dublin, California. You will deliver live game commentary, conduct interviews, and help drive the team's off-field operations.

This paid role combines on-air broadcasting, game-day entertainment planning, and sales support for tickets and sponsorships, with travel to away games.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports broadcasting, especially baseball play-by-play.
• Excellent verbal communication with clear, engaging delivery.
• Strong knowledge of baseball rules, strategies, and terminology.
• Experience in business operations, sales, or marketing within sports/entertainment.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with live streaming equipment and broadcasting software.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, accurate live play-by-play for all Dublin Leprechauns games in 2027.
• Conduct pre/post-game interviews with coaches, players, and staff.
• Research statistics, bios, and team information for broadcasts.
• Operate streaming gear and ensure high-quality audio/video transmission.
• Engage fans via broadcasts and social media; assist in sales strategies for tickets/sponsorships.
• Oversee day-to-day business operations and mentor gameday staff.
