Job summary

Cortica in California is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to join a growing team delivering naturalistic, play-based ABA therapy for children with neurodevelopmental differences.

We offer part-time schedules with flex options, paid training and certification, a BCAT exam review, and a strong support network including Lead BTs and Supervisors to help you grow toward BCBA roles.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or caregiving settings.
• BCAT credential to be obtained within 90 days of start date (training provided).
• Willingness to travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and neurodevelopmental differences.
• Implement positive behavior strategies developed with your BCBA.
• Use evidence-based practices to create meaningful progress for families.
• Document session data to track and support treatment goals.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to build supportive environments.
• Follow Cortica's crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children (experience with autism is a plus!).
• High Schoolor equivalent,bachelor’s or master’sdegree.
• Willingness to obtain yourBCATcredential within90 daysof yourstartdate(We provide all training!).
• Ability to consistently travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation.
• Tech-savvy with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
