Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a speech-language pathologist to work in a play-based daycare in Mobile, AL, focusing on infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The role emphasizes therapy through story time, sensory play, and daily classroom routines rather than a traditional clinic.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders required.
• Valid Georgia state license in Speech-Language Pathology, or active license eligibility.
• CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows and CFYs welcome to apply.
• Experience with pediatric populations or early intervention is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct play-based speech, language, and early communication assessments for infants, toddlers, and young children.
• Design and deliver therapy plans built around early childhood learning styles and developmental milestones.
• Work alongside daycare teachers and early childhood specialists to build communication strategies into classroom routines and play.
• Track and document progress, adjusting approach as speech clarity and language skills develop.
• Coach parents and childcare staff on carryover strategies for home and classroom use.
